Assembly Worker – Production Operator

? 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Monday–Friday)

Kelly Services is currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Workers / Production Operators to join our team in Franklin, TN. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in producing high-quality work.

Position Overview

The Production Operator is responsible for performing production line work within the assembly, molding, and/or press departments. This includes assembling products, operating machinery, and preparing finished goods for shipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform production tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity

  • Assemble products on the production line with speed and accuracy to meet daily targets

  • Operate machinery and inspect parts to ensure quality and timely production flow

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Stock production areas with necessary materials and components

  • Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality standards are met

  • Test finished products for compliance

  • Perform minor repairs as needed

  • Report any production or quality issues to the line lead or supervisor

  • Complete additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

  • Good communication skills

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Frequent use of hands for handling, assembling, and reaching

  • Ability to communicate effectively (talk/hear)

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing setting with exposure to dust, odors, and noise
