Location: Gresham, OR
Pay: $24.00/hour
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Orientation: First day starts at 7:00 AM
Overtime: Available after training (typically after first 2 weeks)
Mandatory Overtime: Saturdays required (~26 weekends/year)

Position Overview

We are hiring a General Production / Shipping Associate for a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility in Gresham, OR. This role begins in shipping and receiving, supporting daily warehouse operations including unloading materials, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

This is a long-term contract role with strong potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities
Unload incoming shipments and materials from trucks
Move and organize materials using hand dollies and manual equipment
Place products into assigned warehouse rack locations
Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory organization
Follow safety procedures and standard work instructions at all times
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Support production teams as needed across departments
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals

Training & Growth
First-day orientation begins at 7:00 AM
Approximately 2-week training period
Opportunity for cross-training in additional production areas
Forklift certification available after training period (based on performance)

Qualifications
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Ability to lift, push, and move materials throughout the shift
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or production experience preferred

Hiring Requirements
Must pass background check and drug screening
Must be available for full day shift schedule
Must be available for mandatory Saturday overtime when scheduled
