Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $36.60 – $52.32 per hour, DOE
Shift:
7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday, stay-over overtime as needed, one week rotating after hours on call duty, overtime and emergency call-ins during night shift, weekends and holidays

What’s a typical day as Industrial Electrical & Instrumentation Technician? You’ll be:
- Ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures are implemented and followed
- Installing, repairing, and troubleshooting three-phase medium and low voltage power distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, motors, variable frequency drives, and other electronic/pneumatic equipment
- Installing, repairing, and troubleshooting digital control systems, I/P systems, control valves, flow meters, and temperature/pressure transmitters
- Performing preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems
- Utilizing industrial shop and portable tools safely and effectively
- Applying skills in equipment rigging, hoist usage, crane operations, and fork lift operations
- Reading and understanding instrument electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Completing required written documentation regarding instrument electrical equipment and systems
- Actively participating in achieving department and site-wide goals for safety, environmental compliance, reliability, quality, and cost control
- Taking part in safety meetings, JHAs, HAZOPs, and incident investigations
- Preparing and maintaining records in accordance with ISO 9001 and other plant safety certification requirements
- Preparing equipment for safe maintenance operations and completing safe work permits as required
- Advancing knowledge and skills in instrument electrical competencies
- Following directions and working independently
- Completing all auxiliary duties assigned by supervision
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have proven experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation roles, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting of power distribution and control systems
- Are familiar with safety procedures and protocols in an industrial setting
- Are skilled in reading electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
- Possess hands-on experience with rigging, hoist, crane, and forklift operations
- Are available for overtime, emergency call-ins, and rotating on-call duty, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Can work independently and as part of a team, following directions and demonstrating initiative
- Are committed to continuous learning and improvement in electrical and instrumentation competencies
