Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:
- Picking, packing, sorting, arranging, counting, storing, and processing items for storage and/or shipment following established procedures and customer requirements
- Receiving materials and/or finished goods daily, verifying quality, type, and amount, and ensuring proper documentation is present
- Working in a warehouse environment across a variety of temperature zones, including room temperature, cold-room, and freezer-room
- Safely operating distribution equipment as needed
- Completing required training and adhering to all ISO standards related to site distribution, including documentation and quality policies
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Possess at least 1-2 years of related experience; some background in logistics within a life science company is preferred
- Can consistently and independently follow policies, procedures, and instructions, and meet schedules
- Are able to operate powered industrial trucks and work at various equipment heights
- Have basic computer skills to navigate ERP systems and Outlook
