What’s a typical day as a Storeroom Attendant? You’ll be:
- Maintaining and issuing tools and supplies in the production supply crib onsite
- Receiving, unpacking, and storing incoming tools and equipment; replenishing inventory as needed
- Performing cycle counting and inventory management of tools and equipment
- Marking and identifying tools and equipment using identification tags or electric marking tools
- Keeping the storeroom clean and organized with general housekeeping duties
- Coordinating customer needs and identifying cost savings initiatives
- Delivering tools, equipment, or product to workers manually or using a hand truck
- Assisting with optimizing scheduled maintenance operations to reduce breakdowns
- Inspecting and measuring tools and equipment for defects and wear; reporting damage or wear to supervisor
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent (must have)
- Possess excellent customer service skills (must have)
- Have experience with the daily operation of supply cribs (must have)
- Demonstrate a professional phone demeanor and experience with computer managed inventory systems (must have)
- Have a mechanical or industrial background (preferred)
- Bring experience working with maintenance and manufacturing personnel (preferred)
- Are flexible and adaptable to changing needs
