What’s a typical day as a Precision Assembler?
You will:
- Perform assembly work utilizing lean principles and one-piece flow to produce FDA-regulated devices in a controlled work environment.
- Learn and follow detailed work instructions to ensure quality and consistency.
- Assemble components including gluing, weaving, packaging, coiling, and welding using hand tools and bench-top pneumatic presses.
- Handle and inspect small components throughout manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot simple equipment malfunctions and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Inform team leads or supervisors of production, equipment, parts, or process-related issues.
- Work effectively with team members in a collaborative production environment.
- Adhere to shop practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support and promote LEAN manufacturing initiatives through standard work practices, safety observations, idea generation, and production board updates.
- Meet quality assurance standards and complete required production documentation accurately.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Preferred:
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
- Experience working in medical device or FDA-regulated environments
- Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles
- Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality expectations
