Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 1st | Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
What’s a typical day as Assembler I? You’ll be:
- Assembling mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and/or electrical/electronic systems to create subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other equipment
- Fitting, aligning, calibrating, and adjusting parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements
- Repairing units or products that have not met requirements
- Following detailed procedures, guidelines, and instructions for all tasks
- Reporting to the Assembly Supervisor or designated team lead
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Have basic technical knowledge and can follow clearly defined procedures and instructions
- Prefer hands-on, routine, and manual tasks in a production environment
- Are able to use common hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Can make simple judgments in straightforward situations
- 6 months of related experience (preferred) but not required
- Are eager to learn and grow within the manufacturing industry
