Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

Pay: $15.50 an hour
Hours: 5:00am-1:30pm

What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You’ll be:

  • Supporting the organization’s CARE values and commitment to quality.

  • Assisting in receiving materials, equipment, and supplies delivered on purchase orders.

  • Loading and unloading trucks with material, supplies, and equipment.

  • Moving materials to their proper location or work area.

  • Following company policies and procedures related to material functions.

  • Wrapping, packing, and preparing products for movement or shipment.

  • Performing periodic inventory checks and stock control as needed.

  • Maintaining a clean, safe working environment and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.

  • Operating forklifts and pallet jacks to transport and store materials.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school education or equivalent.

  • Can operate a forklift and pallet jack.

  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Are detail oriented and safety focused.

  • Have good analytical skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical functions.

  • Can read and interpret drawings and visual aids.
