Location: Farmington, CT (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Hours: 8am – 4:30pm
Salary: $78,000 – $100,000 based on experience

Position Overview
KELLY is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Logistics Compliance Specialist to support and strengthen import/export compliance across our global logistics operations. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while mitigating operational and reputational risk. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and implement corporate policies and procedures for import/export compliance
- Support compliance work plans and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
- Audit, update, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with U.S. Customs, EAR, and ITAR regulations
- Conduct annual compliance audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support CTPAT programs, including validations and security profile maintenance
- Assist with export processes for licensable items, ensuring proper documentation and regulatory adherence
- Act as a compliance advocate by identifying risks, investigating issues, and recommending corrective actions
- Evaluate and improve compliance programs through benchmarking and periodic reviews
- Maintain working knowledge of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and assess tariff impacts
- Train and support Logistics Coordinators to ensure compliance standards are met
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain compliance and import/export operations
- Experience in manufacturing or global shipping environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of CTPAT, EAR, ITAR, and U.S. Customs regulations
- Working knowledge of the Harmonized Tariff System (HTS)
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); SAP experience preferred
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills
Education
- High School Diploma required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
