Compensation: $46.00 per hour
Schedule: 5am-1:30pm. Before, after shift and weekend overtime likely

What’s a typical day as a Production Supervisor? You’ll be:
- Supervising and supporting first shift production employees (5:00a – 1:30p) to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Fostering an equitable and inclusive team environment through effective communication, feedback, and guidance.
- Onboarding, training, and developing team members to drive performance and accountability.
- Managing daily operations, prioritizing work, and making staffing adjustments to meet production schedules.
- Administering employee policies, ensuring adherence to procedures, work rules, and compliance requirements.
- Championing safety programs, enforcing PPE usage, and maintaining housekeeping standards.
- Leading or supporting departmental continuous improvement activities and projects.
- Troubleshooting workmanship issues, monitoring control plans, and meeting budget and performance objectives.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Possess strong people skills, decision-making ability, and experience leading teams—especially in a union environment.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data management; SAP knowledge a plus.
- Have a university degree (preferred), associate’s degree, or significant relevant experience in business, supply management, manufacturing, or engineering.
- Have 2+ years of team leadership and mentoring in a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Understand manufacturing processes, Lean/Just-in-Time, and production systems; CIPP and project management experience are beneficial.
- Are bilingual in English/Spanish (a plus).
- Can handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment.
- Are willing to work off-shift and weekend support as needed (including Saturdays and some Sundays), and be available up to 2 hours before or after the shift.
- Are comfortable wearing all required PPE, including safety shoes with metatarsals from Day 1.
