Kelly Services is hiring a Material Handler (Receiving Support) in Newington, CT!
This role focuses on material handling and internal logistics, supporting production by moving materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting receiving operations. You’ll be cross-trained in receiving while primarily supporting material flow across the campus.
What You’ll Do
- Unload delivery trucks and campus shipments accurately and on time
- Pull parts from storage and deliver materials to production areas
- Process goods receipts and inventory transactions in SAP
- Record stock movements using scanners and computer systems
- Support receiving functions including basic quality checks and counts
- Unpack, stock, and organize materials in storage areas
- Maintain inventory accuracy and support 5S workplace organization
- Operate pallet jacks, transport carts, and forklifts
What You’ll Bring
- Material handling, warehouse, or receiving experience required
- Forklift experience a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with SAP or computerized inventory systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | 1st Shift
- Summer Schedule: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- $19.00-$20.00/hr
- Long Term Temp | Weekly Pay
