Job Title: Lift Truck Operator (LTO)
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Lift Truck Operator (LTO) to join our team. This role is responsible for safely handling and moving product within a freezer environment while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload and reload trucks in a timely and safe manner
- Stack, up-stack, and down-stack product as needed
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials
- Maintain organization of inventory within the warehouse
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
- Collaborate with team members to clean and sweep the freezer and cool dock at the end of each shift
Work Environment:
- Freezer and cold dock environment (cold temperatures)
- Proper cold-weather attire is required
Requirements:
- Prior experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack preferred
- Ability to work in a cold/freezer environment
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
Dress Code / Equipment:
- Warm clothing required for freezer conditions
- Employees are encouraged to bring their own cold-weather gear (limited gear available on-site)
- Composite toe shoes are recommended (steel toe also acceptable)
- Note: Footwear is not provided
