Job Title: Expeditor / Counter Sales Representative
Location: Tempe, AZ 85281
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (30-minute lunch break)
Position Overview
We are seeking an Expeditor / Counter Sales Representative to join our team. The role involves high-volume quoting and customer communication centered around industrial products, primarily pipes, valves, and flanges. Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers is critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to 50-60 emails daily
- Create accurate and detailed quotes for customers
- Work with purchase orders (POs); no cash or credit card processing
- Utilize Excel for spreadsheets and code management
- Enter and process data in Oracle (prior experience a plus, but training provided)
- Provide outstanding customer service at the sales counter
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, basic formulas, and entering data)
- Must understand basic codes and work with numbers accurately
- Tech-savvy with strong computer skills
- Forklift certification (sit-down or stand-up) is a huge plus
- Prior experience selling or quoting industrial materials (pipes, valves, flanges) preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

Compensation
- $21 – $24 per hour, DOE (Depending on Experience)
