Kelly® is looking for an Assembly Worker/Machine Operators to work at a premier manufacturing client in South Salt Lake, UT. Let us help you grow at work and discover the next step in your career, all while being a vital part of your community.
Pay $18/hour
7am – 1pm (hrs may Vary)
What’s a typical day as Assembly Worker? You’ll be:
- Setting up, adjusting, maintaining, and configuring packaging and processing equipment according to specifications.
- Performing visual inspections, completing required documentation, and ensuring defect-free work.
- Loading materials such as corrugate, labels, bottles/cans, glue, and carriers into machines.
- Assisting with minor equipment changeovers and preventative maintenance.
- Clearing jams, monitoring material flow, and ensuring proper coding and graphics on packaging.
- Reporting quality issues to supervisors and assisting with machine repairs as needed.
- Keeping your work area clean, adhering to GMP compliance, and following all company work rules.
- Shutting down equipment and clearing machines at the end of each run and at the end of your shift.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), or a minimum of 2 years relevant experience if education is not completed.
- Are able to provide documentation of your highest level of education or pass employment verification for relevant experience.
- Are comfortable with standing for the entire shift and lifting as required.
- Can read, analyze, and interpret common information and reports, and effectively communicate with team members and management.
- Are willing to undergo a DMV screen and background check (employment may start pending results).
- Have a commitment to workplace safety and quality.
