Kelly is seeking an Accounting Analyst to work with our client in the higher education industry on a temporary and part-time basis for 4-6 months. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a team that is responsible for managing the organization’s financial assets, including endowment and treasury functions.
The Accounting Analyst will:
- Report to the Investment Operations Director and Treasury Director
- Perform daily cash reconciliations
- Assist with wire entry and approvals, as needed
- Support preparation for upcoming audit
- Reviewing audited financial statements from external investment managers
- Completing audit checklists and footnote reviews
- Extracting and summarizing key financial data points
- Reconciling limited partner NAV to overall fund NAV
- Assisting with additional ad hoc tasks as needed
- Reviewing audited financial statements from external investment managers
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in audit, public accounting, or investment accounting strongly preferred
- Experience with PeopleSoft or similar system experience
- Self-starter with the ability to manage priorities independently and follow through on tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
