Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a QA Associate near West Chester, OH.
Contract: ~6 months with potential to convert to a full time employee
Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM, rotating 12-hour day shifts (2-2-3 schedule)
Compensation: $24–$30/hour (DOE)
Position Summary
The Associate I, Quality Assurance plays a key role in maintaining quality standards across Process Execution Teams (PET) and supporting areas. This position supports core QA functions including batch release, change control, process validation, deviation investigations, SOP management, supplier oversight, and regulatory compliance. The role may begin with a focused scope but is designed to expand into broader QA responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems
- Review and approve GMP documentation impacting operations, including:
- Change requests
- Batch records and related documentation
- Product and component release transactions in SAP
- Deviations and product complaints
- Validation plans, protocols, and reports
- Standard Operating Procedures
- Change requests
- Support aseptic manufacturing operations
- Execute QA processes such as batch record review, product disposition, and deviation resolution
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent execution of quality systems
- Partner with site teams on projects, ensuring GMP compliance throughout
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and risk assessments
- Stay current on regulatory requirements and support implementation of best practices
- Assist with analysis and reporting of quality metrics and KPIs
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, operations, or quality assurance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High motivation to learn and grow
- Aseptic gowning required in a cleanroom setting
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s in a scientific field is a plus)
- Experience in a Lean or continuous improvement environment
- Exposure to multi-site or cross-functional operations
Schedule
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Rotating schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off
