Job Specifications

- Pay Rate: $24.00 to $29.00 per hour
- Shift: Monday – Friday
Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and verify prescription orders from the Principal Investigator to ensure study validity.
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and study protocols.
- Support pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and labeling investigational products.
- Assist clinical research staff by addressing inquiries and referring complex issues to the Principal Investigator or Pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy inventory records to ensure smooth operations for ongoing clinical trials.
- Ensure a sterile and compliant environment for medication preparation and dispensing.
- Follow security and quality control protocols to preserve investigational product integrity.
- Meet all study protocol requirements and deadlines, aligning with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies, protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned to enable successful clinical research operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required; Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred.
- Certified Medical Assistant required.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, clinical research, or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy information systems and prescription processing.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines related to investigational products.
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and commitment to compliance.
