Job Title: Forklift operator/Material Handler
Location: Selkirk, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join a team in Selkirk, NY. This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, including forklift operation, packaging, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forklift operation
- Assemble large cardboard boxes for product storage and shipment
- Assist with placing loaded sacks into boxes
- Stack and organize bags safely and efficiently
- Operate a stretch wrap machine
- Perform repackaging tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area through general housekeeping duties
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Additional Responsibilities (as needed):
- Assist with lining containers for shipping
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Forklift experience is required!
- Must be able to work the assigned shift (2 PM – 10 PM, Monday–Friday)
- Strong attention to safety and detail
Work Environment & Safety:
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided
- Safety shoes are required at all times
