Job Title: Finance Associate II – AR Analyst
Location: Nashville, TN
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Schedule: (Hybrid: 2-3 days in office/week) Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts (Flexible start time between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM)


Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Finance Associate II – AR Analyst to join our team in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing an accounts receivable (AR) portfolio, building customer relationships, and driving resolution on past due accounts.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, proactively engaging by phone, email, and other channels to collect on past due accounts.

  • Reduce delinquency within assigned AR portfolio through diligent follow-up and analysis of outstanding balances.

  • Conduct root cause analysis on past due accounts and devise resolution strategies in collaboration with both customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Adhere to set escalation procedures for non-responsive or problematic accounts, basing decisions on thorough situational analysis.

  • Leverage technology and financial systems to effectively track, manage, and report on AR activities.

  • Perform full-cycle AR portfolio management while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to support broader AR and finance goals.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.

  • At least 1 year of prior collections and/or customer service experience preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and integrity.

  • Effective time management skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

  • Analytical skills, including root cause analysis and process improvement thinking.

  • Experience in customer service environments (shared services experience a plus).

  • Open to recent graduates; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related business disciplines preferred but not required.

Additional Details

  • Local candidates or those with a reasonable commute only.

  • This is a hybrid role; in-office presence is required 2-3 days weekly.
