Kelly is currently looking for a Warehouse Operator for a long-term opportunity in the Langhorne, PA area! The Warehouse Operator will thoroughly and accurately complete all assigned work including picking stocks, relabeling products for sale, preparing orders for shipping, loading and unloading trucks and arranging shipments for transport, as well as accurately perform RF Scanner and business system transactions, mainly using web-based applications. You will report to the shift leader or supervisor and learn new skills to stay current with the needs of the position in a changing environment.

How you will spend your time:

  • Picking stocks using standup forklift, labeling/relabeling product packages as required, preparing orders for shipping using pallet wrapper, loading and unloading trucks using both sit down and standup forklifts. 

  • Perform business system transactions using both company and carrier systems. 

  • Maintain a safe working environment, utilize appropriate safety equipment and proactively improve the safety culture of the department.

  • Ensure proper use of scan guns for inventory and batch tracking.

  • Maintain the highest levels of sanitation in and around your work area.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in RF Scanner use, stock picking, shipping preparation, stock control, pallet control and wrapping

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Forklift experience on both stand-up and sit down models.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and numeracy skills

  • Enthusiastic team player

  • Results oriented and high attention to detail

  • Ability to learn computer skills in SAP and in Microsoft Office suite

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, safety and effectively working with other members of the department.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds without difficulty; push/pull 200+ pound drums with assistance.

  • Candidate should be computer literate, with the ability to work in business systems and to properly use scan guns to ensure accuracy and inventory control.

  • English Fluency

  • Experience in a food/chemical warehouse environment is preferred.  

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Ability to push, pull, or shove 500-lbs with assistance from available mechanical devices.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Ability to interact with computer controls and computer controlled equipment.

  • Available to work overtime as needed to cover special situations.

Schedule:
9am – 5:30pm with overtime as needed
