Job Title: Forklift Operator – Shipping & Receiving
Location: Fargo, ND
Schedule:
- April to June: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM; every other Saturday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Rest of the year: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Kelly is searching for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join a dynamic Shipping & Receiving team. If you have a passion for warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and excellence in material movement, we encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers per company safety standards
- Verify and receive incoming shipments against bills of lading/packing slips
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including staging, labeling, and completing documentation
- Move materials to proper warehouse locations and maintain accurate inventory placement
- Conduct cycle counts and support inventory control measures
- Keep work areas, warehouse aisles, docks, and storage locations clean and organized
- Identify and report damaged or defective products
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use and regular equipment inspections
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid forklift certification, or ability to obtain certification
- 1+ years of forklift operation experience in warehouse/shipping/receiving preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Team player who can work independently
