Kelly is hiring for an Associate Technician – IT Infrastructure Support for a 12-month contract role at Newark, DE 19713 with our prestigious client.

Job Title: Associate Technician – IT Infrastructure Support
Primary Location: 451 BELLEVUE RD, Newark, DE 19713
12-month contract – Onsite role

Monday–Thursday – 8 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay range: $23.50/hr.

Job description
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related work experience.
• Proven experience in network support, particularly within OT environments. Proficiency with VLAN, LAN, WAN, firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless technologies.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, etc.) and cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as SCADA, PLC, and industrial IoT is strongly preferred.
• Experience with PC hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain the OT network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other networking hardware.
• Implementing hardware and software upgrades for OT environments.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and configuration problems.
• Provide support for the repair and replacement of manufacturing PC workstations. This includes diagnosing hardware issues, replacing components, and installing necessary software.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration between OT and IT systems.
• Assist in the implementation of security measures to protect OT systems and data.
• Maintain documentation for network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide technical support and training to users on OT systems and workstations.
• Participate in project planning and execution for network upgrades and improvements.
