Job details
Join a dynamic Finance Shared Services team based in Tampa, FL, and take ownership of accounts payable transactions for the USA, Canada, and manufacturing locations. Use your expertise in SAP, document imaging, and invoice management to ensure timely and accurate payments. Be empowered to drive process improvements and collaborate with partners across the business.
Six month contract (could be longer), with PTO, PTO Holidays and access to premium medical benefits.
Location: Tampa, FL 33607
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 P/H
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently process accounts payable transactions, performing 3-way matches to verify accuracy.
- Coordinate AP activities to ensure timely payment of invoices using SAP FUSION, Wise, or the Canada platform.
- Uphold strict compliance with company policies and procedures as an AP Champion.
- Work proactively with buyers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues with parked or blocked invoices.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries, reconciling vendor statements, and addressing procurement concerns.
- Propose and implement creative process enhancements to advance the shared services environment.
- Participate in special projects to support business goals and enhance the overall working environment.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of accounts payable experience required.
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Able to process a high volume of invoices (75–100 per day).
- Solid knowledge of accounts payable processes.
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP expertise highly preferred.
- Proficiency in document imaging and OCR systems, ideally ReadSoft.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables).
- Comfortable working overtime during peak periods and at month-end close.
- Consumer products industry experience is an advantage.
