Location: Farmington, CT
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday + OT as needed)
Pay: $26.00 – $30.00+/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview
KELLY is seeking a Mechatronics Technician to help bring cutting-edge machinery to life. In this hands-on role, you’ll assemble high-precision equipment while ensuring top-tier quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working with advanced technology in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and machinery using engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics (hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic)
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as torque wrenches, dial indicators, depth gauges, and digital levels to meet tight tolerances
- Use fixtures and proper techniques to support accurate assembly processes
- Operate overhead cranes to safely move large and heavy components
- Read and work in both imperial (inch) and metric measurement systems
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following Lean manufacturing principles
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use PPE
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of assembly experience OR 5 years in manufacturing, machine building, maintenance, or service
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and basic schematics
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Familiarity with documentation, part lists, and assembly instructions
Preferred:
- Experience with electrical wiring or mechatronics systems
- Basic computer skills
- Forklift certification
