Kelly Services is hiring a Mechatronics Technician in Farmington, CT!

If you have experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation assembly and enjoy working with advanced technology, this role puts you at the center of building and launching high-precision equipment. You’ll assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex mechatronic systems in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components

  • Install motors, drives, sensors, and control systems

  • Integrate automation modules, motion systems, and machine components

  • Perform functional testing and support machine startup/commissioning

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues

  • Repair or replace defective components as needed

  • Collaborate with engineering on process improvements and new builds

  • Ensure quality and performance standards are met

What You’ll Bring

  • Technical training or degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical field (or equivalent experience)

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical assembly

  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics

  • Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Exposure to industrial automation, CNC machines, robotics, or advanced manufacturing systems preferred

  • Working knowledge of servo motors, motion systems, or PLCs is a plus

Schedule & Pay

  • Direct Hire Opportunity

  • Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Full-Time

  • $27.10–$42.00/hr DOE
