Job Title: Material Handler I
Shifts Available: 1st Shift (7am-3pm), 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm), 3rd Shift 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay for all shifts: $13.59/hr
Overtime: Mandatory; 6-7 days per week, including weekly and weekend OT as required
Position Summary
Join our team as a 3rd Shift Production Operator! This role is essential to maintaining efficient production and high-quality standards during overnight operations. The position involves cleaning and setting up equipment, inspecting and packaging products, and supporting production processes, often requiring mandatory overtime.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and set up process equipment according to guidelines
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled cleanings
- Conduct line clearances, TIQ inspections, and verify equipment parameters as needed
- Initiate and review production documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Verify materials and supplies for correctness and pull parts/stage batches per Bill of Materials (B.O.M.) when required
- Inspect, assemble, and/or package devices per production requirements
- Participate in, and complete, all required training modules
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision or management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to comprehend and interpret control documents and product specifications
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as required, including multiple consecutive days
- Pass audiometric testing and utilize hearing protection as required
- Learn, understand, and apply strict quality standards, SOPs, and cGMP
- Promptly alert supervisors of safety, quality, mechanical, or compliance issues and take appropriate action
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 6S principles
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (entire shift)
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to bend and stoop as needed
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Other Requirements
- Must comply with all company policies and safety regulations
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed
