Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Coordinator (Warehouse Environment)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the daily upkeep and maintenance of our warehouse facility. This role is responsible for carrying out basic housekeeping and light maintenance tasks, while primarily coordinating with external vendors and contractors to ensure all facility maintenance activities are completed efficiently and on schedule.
The ideal candidate will possess general maintenance knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general facility upkeep, including:
- Replacing light bulbs
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in common areas
- Removing trash and debris
- Power washing exterior areas as needed
- Replacing light bulbs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all maintenance-related issues within the facility
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors to:
- Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair work
- Ensure timely and quality completion of projects
- Communicate progress updates and timelines to internal stakeholders
- Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair work
- Monitor facility conditions and proactively identify maintenance needs
- Track and follow up on open maintenance requests to ensure prompt resolution
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, or warehouse operations preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and vendors simultaneously
- Basic understanding of maintenance procedures and facility operations
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift operating experience or certification
- Experience working with external contractors or service providers
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures
- Position requires standing, walking, and light physical activity throughout the shift
