Storage Facility Contract Sales Associate – Redondo Beach

Pay Rate: $22/hr
Schedule: Monday–Sunday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday, with two days off during the week.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Storage Facility Contract Sales Associate to join our team in Redondo Beach. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them in renting new storage units and thoroughly reviewing contracts to ensure clarity and compliance. If you enjoy working with people, have an eye for detail, and thrive in a sales and service-driven environment, this position is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist customers in person, by phone, and online.

  • Assess customer storage needs and recommend suitable unit sizes and services.

  • Walk customers through rental contracts, ensuring all terms are clear and understood.

  • Complete rental agreements, process payments, and maintain accurate records.

  • Promote facility features, pricing, and current promotions.

  • Upsell storage units, insurance, and related services.

  • Conduct unit inspections, lock checks, and routine walk-throughs.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and secure facility.

  • Address customer questions, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.

  • Adhere to company policies and security procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (required)

  • Customer service and/or sales experience preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic computer skills; ability to learn facility management software

  • Able to multitask, stay organized, and work independently

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk the facility and climb stairs, if applicable

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds if necessary

  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
