Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST
Position Summary
The HR Project Lead drives the successful delivery of large-scale, cross-functional Human Resources initiatives that support organizational strategy and operational excellence.
This role partners closely with HR leadership and enterprise stakeholders to plan, execute, and sustain projects that enhance HR capabilities, improve processes, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Project Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, enterprise-level HR initiatives, including scope, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across both technical and non-technical domains
- Ensure alignment with organizational priorities and drive accountability across matrixed teams
Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement
- Design and implement standardized HR processes, tools, and templates to improve efficiency and scalability
- Develop and maintain project frameworks, playbooks, and best practices
- Identify and execute opportunities for process optimization across HR functions
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Partner across a matrixed environment including HR COEs, HRBPs, IT, Finance, Legal, and operational leaders
- Ensure alignment with policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements
- Facilitate governance structures, including steering committees and escalation processes
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze data to assess current-state performance and identify trends
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
Change Management & Communication
- Support and execute change management strategies to drive adoption and sustainability
- Develop clear communications, project updates, and leadership presentations
- Guide teams through organizational and process changes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field
- 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional or enterprise-level projects
- Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing both technical (systems, data) and non-technical (process, policy, change) initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant certifications (PMP, Agile, Prosci, SHRM-CP/SCP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Experience in healthcare or academic medical environments
- Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives with measurable impact
- Advanced knowledge of HR analytics and reporting
- Familiarity with HRIS and analytics tools (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft, Visier)
