Overview
We are seeking a Product Manager, Gen AI to lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of AI-driven solutions within Human Capital and Time Management systems. This role serves as a key liaison between IT and Human Resources, ensuring technology solutions align with business goals while maintaining compliance within a healthcare environment.
You’ll own the end-to-end lifecycle of digital products—including Gen AI initiatives—supporting and enhancing platforms such as Workday, Kronos, and HealthStream. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring both technical depth and strong stakeholder management.
Must-Have Qualifications
- End-to-end (“soup-to-nuts”) Gen AI implementation experience in enterprise environments
- Experience working in HIPAA-compliant healthcare settings
- PMP certification (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full product lifecycle for HR and time management applications, from ideation through deployment and optimization
- Drive Gen AI initiatives, identifying use cases and delivering scalable AI-powered solutions
- Act as the primary liaison between IT and HR, aligning technical solutions with business needs
- Manage and support enterprise platforms such as Workday, Kronos, and HealthStream
- Partner with cross-functional teams (clinical, business, research) to ensure successful solution delivery
- Lead application selection, RFP processes, and vendor management
- Oversee integration efforts and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and IT standards
- Guide and influence technical teams (developers, analysts, engineers) through mentorship and indirect leadership
- Support data-driven decision-making by promoting best practices and analytics capabilities
- Collaborate with PMO to define project benchmarks, financial models, and success metrics
- Present strategies, updates, and recommendations to executive stakeholders
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT environments
- 5+ years supporting or implementing HRIS systems with strong knowledge of HR processes and data management
- Experience with:
- Timekeeping and scheduling systems
- Credentialing and compliance tracking
- Identity and access management (employees and non-employees)
- Timekeeping and scheduling systems
- 3+ years managing senior-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong experience in project management methodologies (Agile, ITIL, SDLC)
- Proven ability to manage complex, ambiguous projects and make decisions with incomplete information
- Strong communication skills, including presenting to large audiences and executive leadership
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or related field
