Position: General Labor / Forklift Operator
Available Shifts & Pay Rates
• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $23.15/hour
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | $24.15/hour
Job Summary
This position involves general labor duties in a fast?paced production environment. Responsibilities may include equipment operation, housekeeping, forklift operation, and material handling. Candidates must be comfortable with physical work, repetitive tasks, and working in a dusty or dirty environment.
Essential Responsibilities
• Perform general labor tasks, including housekeeping and equipment operation
• Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) as required
• Repeatedly lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Perform repetitive production activities efficiently and accurately
• Follow all safety guidelines, work instructions, and company policies
• Work safely in an environment that may require bending, stooping, twisting, and standing for long periods
• Maintain productivity standards in a fast?paced setting
• Accept and carry out other duties as assigned
Training
• All training and job instructions are typically provided on the job
• Proficiency is expected to be achieved within a short time frame
Required Skills & Abilities
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods
• Basic math and counting skills
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, including short correspondence and memos
• Effective communication skills in one?on?one and group settings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to pass Powered Industrial Truck (forklift) certification and training
Knowledge Requirements
• Understanding of and compliance with all safety procedures
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to occasionally use company computer systems and equipment
Education & Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Steel?toed shoes required
