Location: Chandler, AZ 85226
Pay Rate: $17.00-$18.00 DOE
Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30p.m.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate leads by example, demonstrates a strong understanding of production operations, and supports the Manufacturing Manager in all production-related activities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Proper use of production equipment.
- Accurate reading and execution of work order instructions.
- Recording part counts, lot, batch, and cure (if applicable), and scrap amounts.
- Loading, using, storing, and identifying tooling.
- Ensuring proper packaging to protect materials during handling and shipping.
- Accurate product labeling (including label content like P/N, quantity, lot, etc.).
- Performing equipment preventative maintenance (if requested and trained).
- Conducting Ryobi and other customer cycle counts.
- Identifying and communicating waste during fabrication.
- Proper storage and identification of raw material stock.
- Recording labor for parts produced.
- Maintaining clean and organized shop areas.
- Recording run parameters.
- Following all safety protocols in the work area.
- Contributing to production feasibility meetings (if requested).
