Kelly Science is seeking a Scientist for a growing company located in Springhouse, PA. This is a long term benefitted contract opportunity.
Pay: $50/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Employment Type: Full Time; 12 month contract with potential extension
Job duties include:
- Develop and implement NGS-based methods for antibody sequence recovery from cultured B cells and hybridoma cells.
- Analyze and interpret experimental results, presenting findings to the team in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support antibody discovery projects from lead identification through lead optimization.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biology, Biochemistry or a related scientific field. Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in molecular cloning techniques and a strong foundation in experimentation design and execution.
- Hands-on experience in NGS technologies including library preparations, sequencing workflows and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience of applying NGS-based methodologies to antibody discovery, including screening and selection strategies.
- Proficient in computational analysis of antibody repertoire data or antibody sequence data from NGS platforms and familiar with Geneious Prime and Geneious Biologics.
