Machine Opreator-Kirkville, NY 
We’re seeking a Machine Operator to work at a manufacturing client in Kirkville, NY. We’re here to help you find something great that works for you—so you won’t miss a moment of what really matters in your life.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $17–$19 per hour

Shift: M-Thur 6am-4:30pm

Essential Functions:

  • Loading production equipment with raw stock and monitoring machine operation.

  • Measuring parts per inspection plan to ensure they meet customer specifications.

  • Entering SPC data, responding to out-of-control conditions, and alerting QC or supervisors as needed regarding part quality.

  • Performing minor tool adjustments and maintaining or lubricating machinery as required.

  • Completing all required paperwork and entering production data into the system.

  • Moving finished parts to the proper location and communicating important details for smooth shift transitions.

  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED (required).

  • Have short-term trade schooling or on-the-job training (preferred, but not required).

  • Are able and willing to learn to read blueprints, use inspection plans, and follow instructions.

  • Can learn to use precision measuring gauges (micrometers, calipers) and hand tools.

  • Are comfortable using computers to enter production data (print routing cards) and complete paperwork.

  • Learn to use and sharpen hand tools to make necessary tool changes hammer, screw driver, allen and other wrenches. 

  • Are physically able to lift up to 35 lbs frequently (occasionally up to 50 lbs), stand/walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
