We’re seeking a Manufacturing Operator to work at a premier manufacturing client in Piedmont, SC 29673. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Pay Rate: $24.50/hr

Rotating shift schedule 7:20am-7:30pm & 7:20pm-7:30am 3 on days – 1 off – 3 on nights – 3 off and 4 on days than 1 week off

What’s a typical day as Manufacturing Operator? You’ll be:

  • Troubleshooting equipment, identifying root causes, and taking corrective action to resolve issues.

  • Recognizing quality issues, making necessary adjustments, and ensuring high product quality.

  • Performing general upkeep on equipment to improve reliability and process consistency.

  • Applying knowledge of manufacturing processes to achieve and exceed result targets.

  • Handling materials, including proper packaging and labeling of products.

  • Repairing breaks and splicing fiber ends throughout the production line.

  • Inspecting fiber splices and setting up fiber paths from creel to winding based on production forms.

  • Working around mechanical machinery and adhering to safety protocols.

  • Reporting to production supervisors or designated team leads.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have proven experience in a manufacturing or production technician role 

  • Possess strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality 

  • Are comfortable working around mechanical machinery and on a rotating shift schedule

  • Have experience with material handling and understanding of production processes (preferred).
