Job Title: Production Operator I – Plastics
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Openings: 2 (Overnight Shift)
Department: Plastics / Assembly
Location: Telford, PA
Reports To: Department Supervisor

Shift Details:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overnight)

  • 2-2-3 Schedule (12-hour shifts): Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days, work 2 days, off 3 days

About the Role
As a Plastics Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating high-speed automated assembly and injection molding equipment while upholding quality, efficiency, and compliance with AIB/SQF food safety standards. You will support continuous production, perform light equipment maintenance, and contribute to departmental improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate high-speed automated assembly and injection molding equipment in accordance with AIB, SQF, and GMP guidelines

  • Load and maintain raw materials for machines

  • Complete Master Cleaning Schedule (MCS) tasks and light TPM maintenance

  • Replenish raw material stocks to support uninterrupted production

  • Oversee injection molding machines during assigned shifts

  • Participate in departmental continuous improvement projects

  • Offload and package finished products, ensuring compliance with GMP, AIB, and SQF standards

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas

  • Perform additional duties as required to support the department

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating automated manufacturing equipment

  • Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills

  • Basic PC skills; experience with Microsoft Outlook preferred

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Willingness to work holidays (generous holiday pay provided)

  • Ability to follow production schedules and department procedures

  • Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
