Shift Options: 2-2-3 (7 AM to 7 PM) or 2-2-3 (7 PM to 7 AM)

Job Summary:
As an Extrusion Operator, you will set up and operate blown film extrusion equipment, supporting efficient and safe production while maintaining the highest quality standards. Fres-co offers hands-on training and a supportive environment to help you succeed, whether you are new to manufacturing or bring prior experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate blown film extrusion equipment according to production and quality standards

  • Monitor processes and product quality; make adjustments as needed

  • Perform in-process quality testing and accurately document results

  • Complete job changeovers and prepare equipment for upcoming runs

  • Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and escalate when necessary

  • Maintain accurate production and quality records

  • Follow all safety, GMP, SQF, and plant policies; report near misses or incidents promptly

  • Participate in team meetings, continuous improvement projects, and training activities

  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S standards

  • Support training of new team members

  • Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred—training provided

  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and basic hand tools

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
