Sales Assistant (Remote)

$24–$28 per hour | Full-time | Remote (U.S.)

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive Sales Assistant to support our VP of Sales and Senior Account Executive. This is a high?output, high?ownership role for someone who learns quickly, works independently, and uses AI tools to multiply the sales team’s capacity. You’ll manage communications, coordinate meetings, support pricing and sales materials, maintain CRM hygiene, and assist with sales operations tasks that help move deals forward.

What You’ll Do

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Schedule sales meetings involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.


  • Coordinate small, in?person client dinners with the marketing team.


  • Manage reference requests and connect prospects with customer advocates as needed.

Communication Support

  • Monitor the VP of Sales’ inbox and flag time?sensitive messages.


  • Prepare pre?meeting briefs by compiling Gong calls, HubSpot notes, and LinkedIn updates into concise 1?pagers.


  • Track committed follow?ups and send a daily “what’s due today” summary.

Sales Operations Support

  • Use pricing calculators to create accurate pricing quotes based on Gong calls, emails, and HubSpot deal notes.


  • Proof pricing calculators built by sellers to ensure accuracy.


  • Build tailored sales decks using our Master Deck template (no design work required).


  • Use Claude AI to generate Sales ? Customer Success handoff documents, cross?checking Gong and HubSpot for accuracy.


  • Maintain deal documentation hygiene by updating HubSpot properties after calls (stage, next steps, call type, close date).

Light SDR Work

  • Vet inbound website leads using ICP criteria and schedule meetings when appropriate.


  • Re?engage closed/lost deals from 6–8 months ago using templates and AI?assisted personalization.

Data & Analytics

  • Partner with marketing to outline case studies and pull supporting data from the platform.


  • Explore Looker Studio dashboards to identify unique insights for sales conversations.


  • Monitor key KPIs and deliver a weekly report on trends, spikes, and anomalies.


  • Conduct light competitor research and provide monthly summaries.


  • Support additional projects and duties as assigned.

  • Strong problem?mapper who can articulate blockers clearly and ask targeted questions.


  • Curious, analytical, and detail?oriented — enjoys digging into data and finding patterns.


  • Able to work from documented processes with minimal supervision.


  • Comfortable using AI tools (primarily Claude) and able to recognize/resolve AI errors.

Required Experience

  • 1–2 years in a sales assistant, sales support, or sales operations role.

Preferred Education

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Management, Administrative Management, or a related field.

Tool Proficiency Requirements

  • HubSpot CRM — deal management, pipeline tracking, reporting


  • Google Workspace — Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Gmail


  • Claude AI — using projects, iterating for accuracy


  • Gong — reviewing calls, using AI to find answers


  • Looker Studio (bonus) — exploring dashboards and insights


  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator — qualifying and researching leads

Travel

  • Less than 5%

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $24–$28. Actual compensation depends on factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications, market demand, and internal equity.
