AI Automation Engineer
Kelly Engineering is hiring an AI Automation Engineer to support a fast-moving AI & Innovation team building internal AI tools that solve real business problems.

This is a hands-on builder role for someone who has experience creating AI-powered tools, workflow automations, and practical business solutions using modern AI platforms. This is not a research role. We are looking for someone who can build useful AI tools fast and work directly with business teams to solve real workflow challenges.

Location: Modesto, CA
Pay: $70.00 – $80.00/hr
Schedule: Standard business hours
Work Type: Local preferred. Onsite during ramp-up, hybrid flexibility after onboarding. Remote candidates may be considered.
Contract: 6-month contract with strong potential for extension or conversion

What You’ll Do

  • Build internal AI tools and workflow automations

  • Design practical AI solutions for business teams

  • Translate business needs into technical workflows

  • Partner with teams across sales, marketing, finance, operations, and engineering

  • Build and deploy AI solutions using modern automation and LLM tools

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience building AI tools, internal copilots, or AI-powered business applications

  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n

  • Experience with LLMs, GenAI workflows, and API integrations

  • Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience with Python and/or JavaScript

Nice to Have

  • Shakudo

  • AI agents or RAG experience

  • Startup or fast-paced product environment experience
