Shift: 8:30am-5:00pm

What’s a typical day as Bilingual Customer Service Phone Advocate? You’ll be:
- Providing prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to all telephone inquiries.
- Performing research to resolve customer inquiries and documenting all interactions.
- Initiating minor or clerical adjustments based on provider requests, or processing adjustments as needed.
- Coordinating with other departments to resolve problems and assist with priority inquiries and special projects.
- Maintaining accurate records on complaints and customer comments, and recommending changes to management.
- Following through on complaints until resolved or escalating as needed.
- Assisting with process improvements and maintaining departmental productivity, quality, and timeliness standards.
- Identifying and reporting suspected fraudulent activities and system errors.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Are bilingual (Spanish/English preferred) and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Have experience in customer service, preferably in an insurance or claim-related environment.
- Are detail-oriented and can accurately document and research inquiries.
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Can work onsite at the client location in Columbia, SC.
- Are available for 1st shift and can commit to temporary assignments.
- Are proactive in identifying process improvements and reporting issues.
