Job Description:
As a Customer Support Associate, you will be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, order management, and issue resolution. You will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced office environment where accuracy, professionalism, and a customer-first attitude are key.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately receive and enter orders by phone, fax, and email

  • Process changes, cancellations, backorders, returns, and replacement parts

  • Initiate orders to correct errors (e.g., shortages or wrong items shipped)

  • Review purchase orders and complete required forms

  • Communicate with customers regarding orders, pricing, shipments, products, and complaints by phone and email

  • Proactively update customers about shipment delays or order changes

  • Handle all customer interactions with professionalism and patience, including resolving difficult issues

  • Maintain detailed customer account notes and document preferences and error resolutions

  • Collect, record, and report customer feedback

  • Serve as backup receptionist when needed; provide additional administrative support as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional phone manner

  • Accurate data entry and basic math skills

  • Proficiency with computer applications such as Excel and Word, and keyboarding

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities; able to handle multiple priorities

  • 1–2 years of customer service or order management experience preferred

  • Experience with CRM or ERP software, conflict resolution, and teamwork ideal

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Primarily a seated office role, with occasional standing or lifting (up to 10 lbs)
