Kelly Science is seeking a Scientist- Oncology Cell Therapy for a fully benefited long term contract with a growing company located in Gaithersburg, MD.
 
Pay: $48.00/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 1st Shift
Employment Type: Full Time; 12-month contract potential for extension
 
Job duties include:

  • Design and execute laboratory experiments to advance next-generation CAR-T cell therapies for solid tumors.

  • Develop methodologies and conduct laboratory experiments to further develop internal technologies and products.

  • Interpret complex scientific data to drive project decisions and innovation.

  • Work closely with key leaders in partner functions to ensure project goals are met.

  • Maintain a productive, collaborative, and high-standard work environment.

 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years, Master’s degree with 6+ years, or a PhD in Immunology (or related discipline) with 0–3 years of post-doctoral training in Immunology or T-cell biology.

  • Well-developed understanding and hands-on experience in T-cell and NK-cell biology within an oncology context.

  •  Experience in the cell culture of both established cell lines and primary human immune cells.

  • Expertise in genetically modifying T cells using viral and/or non-viral gene editing approaches.

  • Extensive experience in NK and T-cell functional assays, including proliferation, cytotoxicity, cell-based assays with tumor cell lines, multi-plex cytokine analysis, and multi-parameter flow cytometry.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to critically analyze and interpret complex datasets.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and maintain productive relationships with various project stakeholders.
