Validation Engineer
Kelly Engineering is seeking a Validation Engineer to support a fast-paced medical device manufacturing environment in Petaluma, CA.

This is a hands-on validation role focused on helping a growing team move critical equipment and process validations forward in support of product launch and operational readiness.

This is not a documentation-only role. We are looking for someone who can write, execute, and support validation work in a fast-moving onsite environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Write and execute validation protocols for equipment and process qualifications

  • Support IQ / OQ / PQ activities across manufacturing and laboratory systems

  • Validate equipment including manufacturing systems, incubators, refrigerators, and other lab equipment

  • Review and improve validation documentation using ISO 13485 standards

  • Support risk-based validation activities and protocol updates

  • Rework and improve existing validation documents as needed

  • Partner cross-functionally with quality, operations, and engineering teams

  • Help drive validation timelines to support launch readiness

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of validation engineering experience

  • Experience writing and executing validation protocols

  • Strong working knowledge of IQ / OQ / PQ

  • Experience with equipment validation and process validation

  • ISO 13485 experience required

  • Experience in medical device, diagnostics, biotech, or pharma environments

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly collaborative onsite environment

Preferred

  • Lab equipment validation experience

  • GMP experience

  • Risk-based validation experience

  • Startup or fast-growth environment experience
