Base Salary: $100,000-140,000+ (DOE)


About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Duty Drawback Analyst to join their Houston, TX office. This is a high-impact, direct hire opportunity for an experienced professional with strong drawback filing expertise and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile, analyze, and verify import/export data from multiple sources.

  • Review and validate documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.

  • Perform duty drawback filings, including uploads using ABI software (e.g., DutyCalc).

  • Extract and manipulate data from electronic sources (.xls, .txt, etc.) for reporting and analysis.

  • Conduct drawback analysis using Excel and drawback accounting systems.

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) drawback regulations.

  • Identify discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to resolve them.

  • Develop knowledge of supply chain processes including logistics, planning, and customer master data.

  • Work independently on assigned drawback activities with minimal supervision.

  • Support continuous process improvement and data accuracy initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Required:

    • Proven experience with duty drawback filing

    • Hands-on experience with ABI software (such as DutyCalc)

    • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills (Excel proficiency required)

    • Experience working with import/export documentation and compliance standards


  • Preferred:

    • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) – highly desired but not required

    • Background in supply chain, logistics, or trade compliance
