Job Description:
Kelly Services is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team as a substitute custodians in Marion County, SC. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning and sanitizing of assigned areas, including classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces
- Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and empty trash receptacles
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events or meetings as needed
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment and materials properly
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods
