Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $24.31/hr.
Schedule: 1st shift: Sun, Mon, Tues, alt Wed 5:40am-6:00pm

What’s a typical day as an Unwind Operator? You’ll be:
- Operating and monitoring unwind machinery, ensuring proper raw materials are used according to work orders and customer specifications.
- Collaborating closely with Coater and Facer Backer Operators to meet production goals and resolve process or substrate issues.
- Complying with all plant rules, safety standards, and environmental regulations, participating in safety, quality, TPM, and housekeeping programs.
- Inspecting equipment, recording operational data accurately, and reporting any safety concerns, accidents, or product defects.
- Supporting maintenance activities, optimizing equipment performance, and performing cleanup duties at workstations.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Demonstrate a positive work ethic and commit to safety as a top priority.
- Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- Possess previous manufacturing or process-related experience (preferred).
- Are able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal direct supervision.
- Exhibit mechanical aptitude and are skilled in troubleshooting.
- Are detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Have basic mathematics skills and can effectively communicate in English.
- Are proficient in basic computer skills such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and SAP.
- Are at least 18 years old, drug free, and flexible to work overtime.
- Can perform 12-hour shifts in an industrial setting involving standing, handling materials, exposure to temperature variances, and wearing PPE.
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs. and ready to become certified to operate a forklift if needed.
