Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Quality Tech for our client in Bedford Park, IL. Candidates must have excellent work history, in a metals or forging environment. Must have experience with:
- Experience as a Romer Operator or similar CMM/portable arm system
- Experience performing dimensional studies/layouts
- Experience with capability studies
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
- Experience updating programs from engineering changes (ECNs)
- Familiarity with InfinityQS or similar SPC software

Job details:
Pay: $24 – 27/hr.
Hours: Mon-Fri, 7am – 330pm
Position summary:
- Perform die & part inspections using Romer Arm
- Promptly informing supervisors of non-conformances found during Romer Arm Inspection
- Verify die and/or part inspection manually with basic hand tool measurements (if needed)
- Use of forklift to transport material as needed
- Create Romer Arm programs using Polyworks Software & prove out programs ( this will change in the future to Keyence programming as well).
- Perform dimensional studies, layouts and capability studies and summarize results
- Update Romer programs and InfinityQS programs as needed when ECNs are released
- Basic Computer Skills
