Position Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Quality Engineering to lead global quality strategy across our clients farming related manufacturing operations. This role oversees quality engineering and laboratory teams while partnering with Plant Managers across 3–4 sites in the U.S. and Latin America. The ideal candidate brings a strong chemical engineering background, experience with chemical formulation for cleaning equipment, and proven expertise in building and maintaining company-wide Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement global quality engineering strategy across multiple manufacturing sites

  • Partner with Plant Managers at 3–4 sites (U.S. & Latin America) to drive quality performance and standardization

  • Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide QMS, ensuring consistency across all facilities

  • Manage and develop a team of ~15 employees, including Quality Engineers and up to 5 Lab Technicians

  • Oversee laboratory operations, testing protocols, and validation processes

  • Apply chemical formulation knowledge (cleaning equipment/agents) to support product quality and manufacturing processes

  • Drive root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality systems

  • Collaborate with operations, R&D, and supply chain to improve product and process quality

  • Support new product introductions and ensure quality readiness

  • Travel to U.S. and Latin American sites to support alignment and execution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required); advanced degree preferred

  • 10+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in multi-site or global environments

  • Proven experience creating, implementing, and maintaining QMS across multiple sites

  • Experience with chemical formulation (cleaning equipment or industrial applications preferred)

  • Strong background in laboratory operations and quality systems

  • Experience partnering with plant leadership

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or Portuguese) preferred

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
