Job details
Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80915
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: USD 24 to 26/hr
Contract: 3 months
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience
• PVC welding experience required
• Mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic experience is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficient in the use of hand tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and rebuild filter presses preferred
Responsibilities:
• Follow all workplace safety and product quality policies and complete site-specific training
• Receive components or items for assembly and testing in the required sequence
• Assemble mechanical or electrical components using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures
• Assemble standard and custom products
• Follow assembly and testing instructions, including PVC solvent welding and thread taping
• Enter work hours into ERP system (SAP if applicable)
• Complete required production and quality documentation
• Participate in continuous improvement and daily housekeeping/5S activities
• Read and interpret blueprints when required
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition
• Perform basic plumbing work and assist with in-house mechanical tasks as needed
• Update and redline drawings as required
