Job Title: Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Technical Recruiting & HR Operations)
Location: Duluth, MN
Employment Type: Contract (6–9+ months)
Pay Rate: $25–$35 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Environment: 100% onsite | Business casual

We get it—job searching takes time and attention. At Kelly®, we’re here to make it easier. We’re seeking a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support a premier client in Duluth, MN.
This hybrid-style role blends full-cycle recruiting, interview coordination, and talent operations support. The assignment begins as a temporary role (6–9+ months) with the potential to extend or convert based on performance and business needs.

What You’ll Do
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Source, attract, and engage engineering, aerospace, and technical talent using Indeed and other recruiting platforms

  • Review applications, pre-screen candidates, and evaluate qualifications including skills, experience, and compensation expectations

  • Conduct phone screens and support hiring decisions

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition teams

  • Assist with job postings, advertising, and employer branding initiatives

  • Represent the company at career fairs, school events, and recruiting functions

Interview Coordination & Scheduling

  • Coordinate phone, virtual, and onsite interviews across multiple teams

  • Manage complex scheduling logistics across calendars, time zones, and shifting priorities

  • Prepare and send professional interview confirmations and calendar invites

  • Arrange candidate travel and lodging as needed

Candidate & Team Communication

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process

  • Communicate updates, next steps, and feedback in a timely and professional manner

  • Support hiring teams with coordination, reminders, and updates

  • Deliver a positive and seamless candidate experience

Pre-Hire, Onboarding & Compliance

  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings (including foreign national checks)

  • Coordinate drug tests, physicals, and other pre-employment requirements

  • Support I-9 processing, onboarding activities, and new hire orientation logistics

  • Ensure compliance and accuracy across all pre-hire processes

  • Assist in planning and facilitating new employee onboarding experiences

Operations & Administrative Support

  • Maintain and update ATS systems (iCIMS) and HRIS systems (UKG)

  • Track recruiting metrics such as applicant flow, interviews, hires, and time-to-fill

  • Process invoices and manage vendor documentation

  • Maintain personnel files and recruiting records

  • Support reporting, audits, and data tracking

 


What You Bring

  • Experience in technical, engineering, or aerospace recruiting (preferred)

  • 1–2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR support, or high-volume administrative roles (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)

  • Experience with ATS platforms and reporting tools

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Professional demeanor with strong collaboration skills
